Founded in 1959 Carlsbro is among the very oldest British music companies. In 2010 one of China’s biggest musical equipment and professional audio companies, acquired ownership of Carlsbro; the company already having acquired two other major UK heritage audio brands.
Under the new ownership, Carlsbro has continued to advance, with product development and engineering based in the UK and increased production-line capabilities within the Chinese factories.
Today a new phase in the Carlsbro story is about to unfold with the introduction of the Carlsboro Drums (CD) brand. A new era of electronic percussion has been born. Setting new standards is the new range of digital drums which look great and sound superb.
