The Galli Musical Strings Company was established in 1890 by Tommaso Galli who started the production of natural gut strings for musical instruments. In 1950 Tommaso’s son, Roberto, joined the firm and quickly developed an expertise in the art of making musical strings.
In 1985, Roberto’s son, Tommaso II, joins the company bringing with him new ideas and improvements to the string making by introducing full automation to the manufacturing process.
As production efficiency increases, Galli continues to improve quality with the introduction of new computerised winding machines assuring the precision of every single string produced.
More than a century later, many things have changed but, the aim of our company, “to make the world’s best strings” remains at the heart of everything Galli does.
